Abstract	The article considers the situation with the housing provision of the population of Russia, housing availability and quality, shows their regional differentiation on the example of the regions of Asian Russia. It is shown that in the Far East and in other regions of Asian Russia the housing problem is very acute, and the challenges ahead for the development of these regions require immediate action, due to necessity and relevance of search and justification of the various schemes, instruments, sources of financing.
