Аннотация	Глобализация и беспрецедентный экономический рост привели к радикальному изменению роли высшего образования в мире. В настоящее время для БРИКС+ (Бразилия, РФ, Индия, КНР, Южно-Африканская Республика, Аргентина, Египет, Иран, Объединённые Арабские Эмираты, Саудовская Аравия, Эфиопия) свойственны высокие темпы экономического развития и индустриализации. В связи с этим представляется интересным исследовать, присущ ли процесс массовизации высшего образования (увеличения охвата населения высшим образованием) указанным странам. Цель исследования – выявить детерминанты массовизации высшего образования в странах БРИКС+. Кроме того, исследовать, как различные экономические и социальные факторы влияют на вовлечение женщин и мужчин в систему высшего образования. Для анализа автором была сконструирована база данных, содержащая информацию о странах объединения за период 1990–2022 гг., и разработана эмпирическая модель. Показано, что массовизация высшего образования характерна для исследуемых стран. Ключевыми факторами, определяющими данный процесс, выступают макроэкономические условия (в частности, стоимость жизни и уровень безработицы), обеспеченность природными ресурсами, процессы глобализации и уровень распространения информационно-телекоммуникационных технологий (ИКТ). В случае отдельных экономик на первый план выходят: уровень развития финансового сектора, приток прямых иностранных инвестиций (ПИИ) и государственная поддержка сферы образования.
