Abstract The article explores the formation of a «green» economy in the Amur Ecoregion, represented by five constituent entities of the Russian Federation located in the Amur River Basin. Trends and prospects of development of resource industries of the Amur ecoregion, dominating its economy, are shown. The results of adaptation of the criteria and indicators of the «green» economy for the Amur Ecoregion are presented. Two types of practices of such adaptation are considered: integrated assessments of the «green» (sustainable) development of regional systems as a whole and assessments for one of the key sectors of the «green» economy – the forest sector.
