| Abstract | This article analyzes the dynamics of key labor market parameters across the constituent entities of the Russian Federation within the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD), drawing on statistical data (official publications and Rosstat data), analytical materials, and expert assessments. The indicators examined include the labor force aged 15 and over, the number of employed and the employment rate, employment in the informal sector, the number of unemployed and the unemployment rate, and the number of workers needed for vacancies. Particular attention is paid to the gender and settlement structure of the labor force as an important characteristic of the current labor market situation in the Far Eastern regions. The analysis period includes operational data for the first nine months of 2025, broken down into three quarters. According to the results of operational monitoring in 2025, a gradual cooling of the labor market and a gradual transformation of the situation towards increased competition among job seekers are recorded in the FEFD as a whole, while an acute shortage of personnel remains both in socially significant economic activities – healthcare, retail – and in specialized industries – manufacturing. |
