Abstract The article examines trends in consumer price behavior that emerged in 2024 – Q1 2025 in the context of the Far Eastern constituent entities of the Russian Federation and in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD) as a whole. The behavior of consumer prices was studied using such indicators as the consumer price index and average consumer prices, the information source for which was the official data of Rosstat. It was determined that in the period under study, price growth continued to be influenced by sanctions restrictions and an increase in the money supply. It was established that the behavior of consumer prices in the Far Eastern regions of the Russian Federation in the period under study was ambiguous. The commodity groups and types of goods are characterized by the maximum consumer price growth in the FEFD. The factors that had the greatest impact on the price growth of individual types of consumer goods are identified.
