Abstract | The preferences of residents associated with living, working and leisure activities in different parts of Khabarovsk city are analyzed in the article. Two methods of delimiting urban space have been used: the division into administrative intraurban districts that have clear boundaries, and the selection in the urban space of vernacular (mental) areas with conditional boundaries. On the basis of empirical data obtained during a sociological survey, some features of the population of the administrative intraurban districts were revealed. Vernacular regionalization made it possible to form a map diagram of a number of Khabarovsk locations and to identify preferences of Khabarovsk residents relative to these locations. |
