Abstract	Foreign migration in the Khabarovsk Territory in the past decade has been dynamic. The study analyzed and compared the quantitative indicators of arrivals and departures of representatives from different countries. The difference between these indicators in the direction of arrivals creates a balance of the migration consisting of different ethnic groups. In the host community, they are integrated in different ways, come into contact with the locals, and more often they stick together and form settlements along ethnic lines. Thus, the features of the ethnic composition of immigrants influence the characters of the ethnic environment and interethnic relations of the region.
