Abstract | The article attempts to decompose the space of the Khabarovsk agglomeration by use of tools of both socio-economic and vernacular regionalization. It has been revealed that throughout its history Khabarovsk as the center of the agglomeration has undergone at least three waves of transformational changes in the organization of urban space. Moreover, these changes in urban space were accompanied by changes in the nature and configuration of both vernacular and socio-economic intra-urban areas. |
