Abstract | The article describes the two main groups of methods that are used in assessing the competitiveness of tourist destinations by foreign researchers. The analysis made allows making the following conclusion: a truly comprehensive assessment of the competitiveness of spatial systems (including tourist destinations) should be based on a system of marketing research, only if necessary supplemented by an analysis of indices. |
