Abstract | Without adequate financial and economic efforts, political gestures, like military threats, are unlikely to contribute to the long-term consolidation of the military-political equilibrium on the Korean peninsula. It is necessary to construct a situation for the balance of long-term interests, which can only be the investment and economic interests of the DPRK. The article examines the principal opportunities for the formation, on a trilateral basis, of investment projects designed to obtain mutual benefits and to consolidate on this basis the commitments on cooperation between Russia, the Republic of Korea and the DPRK. |
